Mentoring

This research conference is a mentored experience for student researchers:

•Students must have PhD researcher, faculty, or equivalent co-author.

•Instructional workshops/videos on research, technical communication, peer review, and other topics will be brought online. Check back on this website for updates and available content.

•The local track host may exercise an option for peer-review “practice” round with other students

•Our reviewers have been briefed on constructive, critical review for student works. They will deliver good feedback on manuscript submissions that is meant to improve the final product.

•All student authors are expected to prepare and deliver a physical presentation locally, in consultation with their co-authors/mentors and local track chairs.

•Our team will judge, recognize, and support superlative works to move to the next stage of live presentation in an IEEE conference.

•Counseling within CRFID network of program affiliates is available upon request.

•Students must produce videos of their work before reviewing. This video is an important component of the review process as well as part of the final conference presentation.
